Hawaiian Milo Bowl

Hi everyone, here are a few pictures of a nice Hawaiian Milo Bowl that I made. I really like turning Milo wood because it is so stable, it does not warp or crack and it is easy to sand too.
The only down side is that the Milo dust will make you sneeze.

I like Milo a lot but I love Kou. I actually have a lot of Milo and Kou. I have plenty of Kou pen blanks too. Your spelling of Kou is exactly how it is pronounced. The U in Kou is silent.....

What's Kou look like?

Hi Gary, I will try to post some things made from Kou. It is a nice brown colored wood and it works better than the Milo. Unfortunately it is more rare than Milo, very hard to get.
