Hello folks

here are 6 platters made with rippled olive ash which I have completed recently- made the same way as the one I did for the woodturning article last year in issue number 239
the wood is finished with woodoc 10 and the leaf with acrylic lacquer
the sizes are between 14 and 18" in diameter

Looks great George. I would love to visit your house just to see all the beautiful turnings on display. It would be better than most museums I'm sure.

Wow George, those are wild !! I'm desperately resisting the temptation to even ask how you do them.
Are they ornamental or can they be used and cleaned?

Hi George, these are really beautiful pieces. I have made a couple of platters in the past and they are very satisfying. I have a large piece of sycamore feathered crotch that I need to get done as a house warming gift for a couple that I have been building a house for. I will have to make a start soon as they plan to move in around the 15th November. I will post pics when done.

Hope your sales are doing well.

Eric...
