I was asked to make a box as a gift and here it is. I shipped off today. The other folks are building a very custom fishing reel as their gift. My new Laguna 14/12 bandsaw with a resaw king blade was superb at cutting the top. I usually do this on my table saw, but for small boxes it will be over to the bandsaw from now on. Red oak had a nice natural color with just spar varnish as finish.
