So I looked at buying something similar, but the price was over $100.00. So I decided to use some scrap oak and make a makeshift tying bench. It's not perfect, but I have $12.00 in it!! Here's a pic and some flies I tied tonight. All are a Clouser Minnow.

Nice job, there's nothing like staying organized when working on a project. More importantly for me, it's inspiration for making a casting bench. Holes for holding various sizes of pvc molds, recesses for Pearl Ex & dyes, and an open box for my mica in plastic baggies. Not to mention a much needed HDPE drip tray. Thanks for the great idea!

Saw this at a writer's conference this month. Don't know why it is on its side! Any suggestions?
