Fluted ash vessel

hello folks

here is another piece which I have completed recently, its ash and is 6" tall by 4" wide.

This piece is great, your photography is cool too, I would have thought this piece was much larger if you had not posted the dimensions, it has a big look to it.

I use a router to do the top 2/3rds of the flutes then I do the bottom 1/3rd by hand.

my lathe has not got bed bars so allot of the commercially available routeing jigs do not work so I had to come up with another method.

The flutes offer many angles for light to be reflected. Beautifully executed.
