This is my first foray into something other than pens (which I really enjoy). Presents for my youngest grandchildren....

I learned quite a bit in the process. Turning something with a shape like this takes a new skill set.

Thoughts and comments are most welcome. The wood is lacewood, and I was pleased with the way it turned and finished. My apologies for the photography. Using my IPad camera.

You have done a great job on it and I like the finish. I agree when you turn something new the shape can be a challenge

I have yet to turn one of those. I was thinking of making some of them for my grandchildren. As they are not caring of the egg portion but of what they see inside how does it look?
