I turned quite a bit some years ago, and recently have re-kindled my interest. I'm having to relearn quite a bit, and redevelop that muscle memory for the tools.

This little birdhouse is my first, and my first real turning in quite a long while. There are definitely flaws, and much was learned not only about the tools, but the workflow and progression of making one of these little ornaments.

Overall, it aint' all that bad... unless you look real close! ;)
(and the dang bird shifted before the glue set!)

To be honest, that's not all that's wrong with it, but there are a few lessons learned and a success or two along the way as well.
Lesson 1 (in regard to the bird) NEVER TRUST CA GLUE! lol
