ok i finished the holster about 15 mins ago.
so here is the holster finished.
also in the picture is the handgun that will live in the holster.
its a ruger old army cap and ball black powder 44 cal.
its a joy to shoot.

Yep.

the holster started off as a big flat piece of cowhide/leather.

I cut out the shape, carved it, colored it, put the chorme diamonds in. sewed it together all by hand. formed it and put the finished coat on it.

the sewing took about 4 hours.
