Fun request from an avid gardener/hummingbird fancier friend - borosilicate glass, flameworked at 1500-2500 degrees of oxypropane torch heat, then annealed overnight in a 1050 degree kiln:

It's all about fire, glass, gravity, motion, and a little bit of imagination.

Hoping to do some more glass work this winter
.
Happy Monday to all - Bob

Beautiful work! We have a feeder just outside out kitchen window. They are fascinating birds.
Why do hummingbirds hum? Because they can't remember the words.

WOW that is great. I like Hummingbirds and that is better than the real thing. I feed several at my house. They are fun to watch and when they get used to you they will land close.

Thanks for posting

Heartfelt humble thanks for the kind comments!

I adore these incredible little birds - and it's a joy to render these fiery creatures out of fire and glass.

Best regards, Bob
