A different type of segmenting

A cutting board I'm doing for a friend. Purple heart and hard maple end grain. Once the glue sets I'll scrape it all down and get it ready for the CNC. Going to inlay his business logo.

I may cut up some of the leftover purple heart and drop it in the classifieds.

Looks like a winner to me. An end grain cutting board is one of the projects still on my "Yet to accomplish" list.
