I decided to try to make myself a detail gouge using 1/4" square tool stock. Not real pretty but it works.

I can't tell from the pic...did you scoop out the top like a gouge or is this more a detail scraper.

No scoop so I probably should call it a detail scrapper.

Made with round stock, it becomes a fluteless gouge. very handy cutting tool for detail work.
