Customer request and they provided the wood

A good customer came to me with a second request for Christmas presents. She gave me the giant chunk and slab of big leaf maple. She picked metals for shave sets and pens. There are five laser engraved pens though one is shown. All items were finished at work yesterday while selling at the Gallery n Gifts here in Tehachapi. Buffed and assembled today.

Glad to have it in the done column.

Oregon. Large block $45 and the slab $25. I have cut up the slab and will cut the block up soon. Perhaps I'll share some on IAP.

I used General Finishes Wood Turners Finish, seven coats.
