Hi All,

Had a request from a Customer for cufflinks. Wasn't sure what to make.

Started looking for kits but couldn't find anything that suitable so wondered if I could make a set out of wood???

Hunted out my cufflink sets, and came up with a rough shape and size, but had a problem holding them to finish them and get a good polish. Ended up making my own makeshift chuck out of a bottle stopper chuck and a piece of holy. Made it easy to polish and finish.

These are made out of Pau Rosa Rosewood. Finished with CA/BLO.

Any comments welcome.

They dont look like much until you see them in the shirt, face on. Impressive! There must be some jewelery supply place that has metal cuff link hardware. basically you would just turn a little button shape and glue them to the hardware. That would be a great use of scrap material for sure. You would figure that someone buying a nice pen may also like and use cuff links. I think you really have something there! Thanks for the post.
