Another curly Ambrosia Maple Bowl and live Edge walnut. The Maple Bowl is around 7" in diameter and the walnut is 9" at its widest. I decided to add a stripe to the maple bowl. My wife does not like the stripe but I wanted to change it up a bit. I used a translucent dye. I wonder if it would look better darker or a different color. Constructive comments on the stripe welcomed. This bottom of the walnut bowl needs to be cleaned up, inscribed and finished.

The live-edge walnut is stunning.

The stripe does not do much for me; the bowl itself is beautiful, but for an accent, maybe a recess filled with one of the crushed stone inlays?

I don't mind the stripe, but neither does it make me like the bowl better. I am a copper fan myself, so maybe a copper band or accent.

The walnut bowl is my favorite of the bowls presented in the last couple of months.

I like the look and design of each bowl, both are nice to look at. I can take or leave the red stripe, it neither adds nor takes away from the bowl. Personally, I would like to seethe stripe highlighted. I would like to see a burn line, above and below the coloring. I think burn lines, would make the strip stand out more.
