A Corian platter

I had a request to make a platter to transport the raw meat to the grill.

Since Corian is perfect for this purpose, this is what I came up with.
I hope to get it made tomorrow. I'm waiting for the client to give the confirmation to start.

It will be 10.5" in diameter.

It will be cnc engraved, and then either color-filled, or epoxy-filled.
I'm actually in the set-up process now, and I hope to have it off the machine before heading home.
I'll try to get a photo of the finished product.

We have sheets. Most are full sheets, but we have many partial sheets. The partial sheets are what I use for side projects.
So yes, I cut it round, and the final diameter ended up being 10.75".

I just finished cutting, and adding the color-fill. It will get the final polish tomorrow, and be ready to use. I'll get a photo of it when it's complete.
