Very eye catching. How did you keep the cedar end grain bowl from cracking, especially at the pith?

I dribbled thin CA into the cracks, kept my bowl gouge sharp, made light passes, and left it a little thicker than I would do on most woods. I tried doing a second one thinner and after taking it off the lathe it split in half when I was trying to do a little sanding on the bottom. I CAed it back together and had it 90% cleaned up and it cracked in a different place. Just wasn't meant to be.

I'm glad you didn't hint for a choice between the two. Each is beautiful. The Cherry is more clean and neat, but the colors of the cedar is amazing. So kudos for both!

Very nice Cody.
