Cocobolo & Pink (Yes Pink) Game Calls

My Son's calling is hunting, so I asked him which game call he'd like for his Birthday (several weeks ago), and he wanted me to do a Pink Cow Elk call (I used pink fabric paint on maple and final finish of CA) for his 2 year old daughter. He's been blessed with the 2 year old and twin girls (1 year old in August), and believe me they will likely be hunters (Zoe also got some pink arrows from her Great Uncle). Sooooo, here's a pink one for Zoe and a Cocobolo one for my Son.

Those look great,pink is different but if they like it all the better.
That is some nice looking cocobolo. I do like the style of the calls.

Great shape on those calls. Glad to hear the pink is for a girl. Men are very-very macho about their hunting equipment. I make calls also and those I have made from purpleheart I can't give away. Literaly, can't give away. At a show, I once tried to give one to a twelve year old boy whose father refused to buy him a duck call. The kid just wrinkled up his nose and looked at me like "are you nuts?" and walked away.

Seems appropriate.. pink is for girls, elk cows are femail (girls?) why not a pink call.[]
