The Richmond Woodturners club has quarterly challenges and the latest challenge was to make something from a tree limb that was 3" or less in diameter. I decided to do something a little different and made a couple of candle holders. The curved section is the outer diameter of the limb. I used poplar which looked pretty plain so I used a torch and charred it. Not my best work but hopefully something a little different.
