So this past summer my very funny sister-in-law asks... "Can you make anything other than those segmented pens?"

Maybe - Whatcha want? "A candy bowl that my grandsone can drop and not break."

I haven't turned a bowl in several years, so this was fun. The letter openers are for my two sons and daughter.

Great job! So are segmented bowl next?

That's a big step up, and my "non-pen" woodturning skills are pretty basic. I really don't want to buy any more large equipment just for a few bowls, so I'll have to try to get better with what I have.

Great job! So are segmented bowl next?

I like Mike's way of thinking!! Maybe a Waffle House Segmented Bowl

The pens were fun and the Ebony and Yellowheart were great to work with. I still need to finish the blanks for Wayne and Chuck.

Mark, You taught me so much when I was in Ohio...… your skills are second to none.

Beautiful gifts and I am sure that they will be treasured.
I say boy, Boy.... you can do anything you put your mind to. You are an artist.

Those segmented pens a very fine work. Yes, it's nice to do many other woodworking projects too. Kinda like saying to Tom Brady can't you do anything except with super bowls?

Great work as always.
