Bowl and eggs

I usually have a lot of trouble turning things, but I think that I will share what I finished last. I was really concerned that the bowl was going to come apart on me as the crack and the imperfections started to show in the process. I was wearing a face mask so I just kept going. The finish is walnut oil. The bowl is Cherry and the eggs are Poplar.

I'd rather see a bowl with these "flaws" than one with smooth sides. Very nice!

The precautions were well warranted, but the end-product is beautiful.
