Bluebird Invasion

SWMBO had a group of her girlfriends over and informed me afterward that I was to make a bunch of ornaments. First up were 9 miniature birdhouses. To top things off, they were all to have bluebirds. I was unable to find miniature bluebirds sold separately so my wife painted birds from the assorted pack. I used walnut, apple, cedar, maple and Osage orange in making these. Next up will be some inside out ornaments, later some side hollowed ornaments and finally some tree toppers.

Informed? In the military, it is called a direct order. :rotfl: Those are cute. I got some of the miniature birds at Hobby Lobby.

Those look pretty good but from that list of additional things ordered I think a couple new tools would be needed to complete that order. :biggrin: I tried those a couple years ago but could never get the roof where I was happy with it. The natural edge look you have looks good, may try them again with that look.
