Black Cherry Bowl

I just scored two good sized black cherry logs and have been itching to turn some bowls. My wife and daughters have been keeping me very busy with non-turning projects so I have to sneak off to do any turning. I was able to escape last night for a little while and turned this 7" bowl. It still needs a little finish work but I think it will turn out pretty well.

Your wife should be happy with you sneaking off to the shop! She gets a one of a kind, hand turned bowl by her hubby!

Very nice! Cherry is so nice to work with.

I started a walnut bowl about a month ago but have run into snags, so it's sitting about 1/2 done right now. I need to get back to it soon.
