Six coats of wipe on System Three spar varnish mixed 4 spar:1 mineral spirits. I sand after the first two coats with 400 grit and then sand between coats with 1000 grit.

Yes, usually long range sportfishing boats
I have been making them since 2003; they take it nicely. Several over 12 years old have had a factory refinish since they were made for friends.
