Beads of Courage box

Turned this BOC box out of cypress then used the rotary attachment on my CNC to do some engraving on it. Since I am a fan of the Super hero movies and since this will be going to a child that is undergoing some type of chemo treatment, I decided to use a Super hero theme. The engravings were done with a v bit and then I filled in the engravings with coffee grounds and sealed with CA glue. I hope it brighten up some child's life as they are going through a rough period in their life.

Wonderful project Bobby. The finished Box is great. I have also supported this cause, so I love seeing your work.

I also appreciate the Cypress - Very nice grain pattern.

I really need/want to make a fee more of these. Sigh..., also need 36 hours in a day.

Well, it's just been pointed out to me, and I never noticed it, the "S" is reversed in the Superman logo. Back to the lathe. Hope I can get it to fit the lid again.
