Barber's neck duster

Lady that cuts my hair asked about a neck duster. I thought what the heck I would give it a try.

Used a piece of pink spectraply and after turning to shape rubbed in some purple dye before the CA finish.

For a first try I think it turned out pretty good. Already got a request for another barber in the same shop.

If you don't mind my asking, what did you use for a knot? I tried making one for my son who cuts hair and I believe I used a makeup brush - he said it didn't brush the hair off the skin very well.

I got a brush from a beauty supply shop to get the knot. I removed the small round handle and epoxied the turn one in.

Looks very nice!
