I got this picture from my wifes cousin. He is a turner, mostly bowls and goblets. He took this picture at a AAW meeting earlier this year. In his words "This WOOD lathe is FULLY functional. I don't think it will see operation, but it would work (for a while anyway). There are over 10 different woods. The legs are Mahogany, the bed is bubinga, the headstock and tailstock are Zebrawood, the VERY well machined fully functional headstock spindle and tailstock quill are some kind of rosewood, the fully function tool rest is ebony and a few others. The centers are removable, the tailstock slides and locks, and even the pulleys are machined with perfect V's at three speeds. This thing is just amazing, and has an absolutely perfect finish."
It was built by Eric Ehrich from Nogal, NM. I thought this was pretty neat when he showed it to me. Shawn
