Hey Guys, just joined up here. A buddy of mine got me into pen making and we make them together a few times a week. Got so into it I just bought a lathe and were gonna set them up in the shop and he is going to show me to actually use the lathe and turn them. Eventually I will bring my tools home and work at my house but until I am comfortable I will turn them at his house. Enough of my background...
We want to start casting some of our own blanks, we want to start simple. Where should we start? Just acrylic? What supplies are we going to need? We have nothing for casting, always bought the blanks. Is there tutorial somewhere I can read or watch about making blanks. All advice is much appreciated. Thanks
