Type of printer for casting?

Trying to figure out what type /model of printer to get for making labels for pen blanks.

In the past I used what ever ink jet printer I had and they came out ok.

What type should I look into more into, ink jet or laser? Any specific models?

I have a Epson 446 inkjet using the online weatherproof labels.
