Can't recommend a brand. Get the biggest you can find. I went to Wal-Mart for mine. Get a good oven thermometer and set your temps by that not the dial.

Also if you every want to use something like this I think you need one that locks on aka you don't use the timer. Which I think means a manual dial one.

These units turn off and on the entire oven so a digital electronic one may not work.

The smaller size was enough for me - I can fit about 20 blanks and that's more than I can (or need to) stabilize at once. Oven thermometer is a must. Convection will give you more even temperatures. A "stay on" feature is also a must, don't want to have to reset the dial every 30 minutes. Bought my first at GoodWill store, dirty and would not hold temp very well. For 15 bucks bought a new one at WalMart works great.

On my toaster oven i went with a manual control for the timer and built a PDI to control temp, work great.

Do you mean PID (proportional integral derivative) controller? Because that what I use. I first made it to control my smoker and have also used it to very precisely control the temp of my toaster oven.

Its a stand alone unit that you just plug the oven into. I have all the components to build a controller into the oven but you have to rewire the insides and I'm just not comfortable doing that right now.
