Stabilizing with Mica powder

This may be a really stupid question, but has anyone ever used Mica powder, with their stabilizing resin (Cactus Juice)? Not as the sole tint, but in addition to their normal dye? Wood it give the dyed wood a little shimmer?

I could be way off, but I figured I'd ask before I waste some perfectly good cactus juice to find out.

Mica powder by its very nature will not be sucked into the wood pores to much effect. Think of how big the pores are and how big a mica flake is. Try to put a marble through a soda straw!
