Probably done this before. What is the difference between pressure and vacuum for stabilizing blanks? I can think of a couple of obvious things. Vacuum will suck the lid on, not try to blow it off. Vacuum will remove some or all of the oxygen from the container. What are the other pro's and con's to each? I am thinking of getting into casting and stabilizing my own stuff.
