My first flower casts

Well to be fair, 2 of these were my wife's creations and I just assisted a bit in suggesting some PearlEx powders to get the color she wanted. Well that and I'm the guy that spins them around and gets them dizzy.

Bronze and green tea, Yellow and Marigold, and purple with globe amaranth. Had a few Sierra kits laying around so just went with those.

These are cast in Alumilite, CA glue on top to help fill in the soft spots. The flowers/tea were acquired already dry and ready to go.

Like these, neat idea. Did you fill the "soft spots" with CA before, after or during turning?

After. I pressure cast them so thankfully they weren't terribly soft. Just a few small voids I filled after turning, and the top coat to protect it.
