Dang it! I mixed another six color cast and made it much hotter this time to acquire the hard separation and it didn't come close to gelling in the required and predetermined time frame.

I attribute this to bad catalyst. I noticed it didn't react as normal on my other cast and suspected the catalyst, but I blamed the weather. Everything today is within the parameters weather wise and it was a normal cast that I've done many times, but the gel didn't happen until much too late. I will order some new catalyst and make another attempt at the six colors.

Tomorrow though, I will be doing upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends on a 4x4. I'm hoping I can get it done in two days.

Well, the truck repair didn't go well. It's only half done and we have to wait for delivery on a part that was sent as an incorrect part. Just my luck.

Anyway, he is the result of bad catalyst. It has six colors and will also be turned into handles.
I've included an edge photo.
