As many of you I've been working PR resin, I think. The transparent resin used for fiberglass that you buy at at the auto paint shop. I know what Aluminite is but that's all I can identify.

I went to our library and found a great article by Avbill, The Acrylic Revolution, but it has no pictures. I wonder If we could fix that, with Bill's permission.

I believe that these are Acrylic Acetate Acrylic Blanks | Page 1 of 1 although my doubt is because other suppliers call them by different names. Can we make these?

Besides The PR and aluminite What can we make?

Generally speaking, how hard is cast epoxy compared to other casting media ?

I've turned several of Mike's (Indiana_Parrothead) watch part blanks. They seem to be as hard as any PR or Alumilite blanks that I've turned. For me at least, Epoxy resin seems to turn easier than most other acrylics.
