I'm wondering if anyone has experience with System West Flex epoxy:

https://www.amazon.com/West-System-...=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=system+west+full+flex+560

I see they have a package deal with syringes and mixing cups. Is the product that viscus you can use a syringe with it? How would you clean out the syringe or it a one time use product?

Thanks for any feedback. My current two part epoxy is pretty thick and doesn't flow very well at all. (Bob Smith 5 minute epoxy)

Warm water for one minute will do also.

I use two part epoxy and when the tubes get opened is when they start to flow slowly. Found out the above totally by accident when one of my tubes fell into a hot cup of coffee and I didn't catch it right away.
I don't drink coffe........it was my Dads.

montmill - I moved away from the 5 minute epoxy to the 15 or 30 minute, due to working time needed. I also found that warming them helps, like Ed said. The longer working time products stay thinner longer, and because I let them cure overnight I really don't care if it cures really fast.

In the winter I just keep mine stored on top of the heating duct in basement.

I don't think the mixing tubes are made for cleaning, but I'm willing to learn if they are.

Happy Turning - Tom
