I have been researching trying to find out how to create various colors when casting.

I found this web site: Online color mixing tool - free color blender!

They have an app on the web site which will take any color Hex code (i.e. Chrysler Dark Garnet Red is hex code #781c2e) and will try to find a hex code which matches as closely as possible the hex code you enter.

It will then show you the number of drops of the different color dyes that you would need to create that color.

For example, the hex code #781c2e had to complex of a formula, however, the app came back with the hex code #802132 which matched the original by 99%.

The app told me that I would need to use 5 drops of red, 2 drops of blue, 1 drop of white, and 4 drops of black to create that color. That is based on using the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) with White and Black to create the formula.

The app has many other formula combinations that you can use.

You can find out a colors hex code by searching for that color on the web.

Hopefully someone may find this information helpful when trying to create that special color for casting a blank.
