Catalyst question

Ok I did my first cast yesterday and so far all has turned out well but I have a question about the amount of hardner needed based on the temperature in my shop. Yesterday I cast 17 oz and used 1/8 oz of hardner it was between 60 and 70 degrees in the shop and sunny outside. Today it is upper 40’s low 50’s and rain. I have read that adding to much hardner can make the cast brittle. Is the outdoor temp going to make a difference on my cast if I use the same amount of hardner? Or is it just going to take longer to set up? Or do I add a little extra to make it hotter? Or am I just worried over nothing [8)]
