Alumilite Water Clear

So I purchased some Alumilite the other day, to make some "worthless wood" blanks, and for some reason, I selected the water clear version. After reading all of the info Curtis has posted, I'm kind of worried about it. Is water clear going to be too soft for my pen blanks? I'd hate to think that I just wasted a bunch of money on the wrong thing.

Did you order directly from Alumilite? Might call and see if they would do an exchange if you haven't opened or used any yet.
