Hello All,
Question to everyone who casts with alumilite. Have any of you had the B bottle start turning to gel? Mine is getting thicker and thicker with each day (was unsealed about 2 - 2.5 weeks ago). It is coming out very gooey now. Temp is always the same in my basement (around 68 degrees right now).

The A side is just fine.

I have a gallon of B that hasn't been opened yet, it is still not showing any gelling and I have had it since March. I am afraid to open though in fear that a whole gallon will gel.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

B will gel over time. You can let it sit in hot water for a while and it will thin back out. I set mine in front of a small space heater, just be careful not to put it too close....

Ditto. Use a warm water bath.
