Default The sale is here!!! New stuff A LOT of blanks.

Call this the Thanksgiving sale, the Black Friday Sale, the "get your pens done for Christmas sale". It doesn't matter to me, it's a great sale and I'm excited to post our first sale here on IAP!

SALE ENDS NOVEMBER 25TH 11:59PM Arizona time.

Everything you see below is made form Arizona woods except we do have I believe 5 blanks using magnolia pods a buddy from VA sent me to play with.

People look at the cholla and think "It just won't look good" but I promise it can surprise you. I will say it can be a challenge to turn so be careful but it's pretty amazing for sure. Here are two examples:

Everything is cast with alumilite and everything that needed stabilized was stabilized. Woods like Desert Ironwood can't be stabilized so it isn't worth the time to try.

We did encounter an issue that didn't show it's face until later on so these do come in a few sizes I want you to be aware of. I will list these by size starting with 13/16" square, then 7/8" square, then the last ones will be 3/4". I'll put them in bold above each section. All of the blanks are 5 1/4" long.

If you have questions please feel free to ask. They have all been wiped with a quick coat of shellac and they haven't been buffed so the finish isn't awesome but it gives you a good idea of what's inside.

Shipping is $6.25 for up to 16 blanks to the US. $24 anywhere else. More than 16 blanks add $5.

All packages will be at the post office the day after you pay except Wednesday will go on Friday due to the holiday.

ALL BLANKS ARE $10, IF YOU BUY 4 OR MORE THEY ARE $9. Sale ends midnight next Saturday and the remainder of the blanks will go to my website at regular price. You all have first shot at these

I will list the numbers below the photos of what is still available. If two people end up wanting the same one, the first person to call it will get it.

I accept paypal for sales like these.

Thank you!

I also want to add, Kelley Crafts website is giving 10% of sales to the wounded warrior program this month for veteran's day. We plan to do exactly that with this sale as well.

All, please post in the thread so there isn’t confusion on what has been ordered. I had the first order come through a PM for 03, 7, 43, 67 88.

I have been quick to remove the numbers from the listing but unfortunately John didn’t see that the numbers were gone and selected a few that were selected in the PM. I would love to not send emails saying I can’t ship the requested blanks due to it being taken. I really appreciate all of you and want you all to be happy, help me do that please.

Thank you! Dave

While I’m posting, I want to say, if you have never turned what I am offering, please take it easy. Arizona woods are EXTREMELY hard woods. Walnut doesn’t have anything on what we have. Like metal or anything really, the harder the material, the more brittle it is. If you dig in to hard then you will blow your blank. Just go slow and easy and enjoy it. I love my HSS tools but for these I use carbide because one catch can be the end, these aren’t forgiving like others but the wood and acrylic is unbeatable. So most of these qualify as “pro” level I think.

I wrote a blog post and I know you all already know this but I want to make sure I’m providing everyone with all of the info needed to be as successful as possible. Check that out here.

Dave, thanks for putting this info inline with the rest of the thread ... that is the most useful place for it, IMHO !
