Here we go with Puzzle # 5.

DO NOT POST YOUR GUESSES IN THIS THREAD - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW!

Your challenge for this puzzle is to identify the wood shown in the photos below. This is a root that my brother yanked out of the ground at his farm in Weesatche, TX.

It is one of the following 10 woods - which one do you think it is?

Mesquite
Huisache
Hills Weeping Fig
Eastern Red Cedar
Brasil
Hog Plum
Alabama Supplejack
Osage Orange
Yaupon
Sassafras

I'm going to make this one real easy by giving you 3 views of the root chunk. :)

Now the rules for this puzzle:

You may make only one guess, so take your time.

You must email your guess to iap.puzzles@gmail.com - your entry must contain your guess, your real first and last name, your IAP Screen name, and your email address. Invalid or multiple entries will be disqualified.

However, we did not have any correct entries for this contest, so I will post a second chance for this puzzle shortly. Stay tuned and be sure to read the rules of that second chance opportunity.
