COMPLETED

Auction #2: Russ Fairfield DVD Collection from [profile=Gin N' Tonic]Scott Hettel[/profile]

Russ Fairfield was a pioneer in the world of penturning, and a key player in the early days of the IAP. Like many people, I got my start in penturning by watching Russ's videos. Russ passed away in 2011 and production and sale of his penturning and finishing videos stopped. Scott Hettel, another IAP old-timer, donated his set of Russ Fairfield DVDs for auction.
  • The included DVDs are:
  • The Slim Line Pen
  • Advanced Pencrafting
  • More Advanced Pencrafting
  • The Collectors Pen
  • Finishing Secrets for Pens

THANK YOU, SCOTT!

I would like everyone to take a good look at the photo Jeff has posted.
Read the list of contents on the DVD covers.
Then, consider the purpose of these auctions. We have to keep the lights on here at IAP!

Are you kidding??? The historical value alone. These may hold different values for different people in that if you are a newbie they are priceless. The info that is shared with one of the all time great pen maker, woodworker, and finisher. Then there are those that have been around awhile, there is the historical value. But even then there has to be tons of added info in there that you never even touched before.

$60

Just had to edit my bid.

Almost missed John's bid of $60.00

Thanks John!

It's a good point to make. These DVDs are not just for the beginner. Some may believe, they already know how to make a pen, and pass the opportunity to progress, SOMEWHERE.

Are you kidding is right! I purchased these from Russ many years ago and I cannot tell you the wealth of information that is in these DVD's. The information that is presented in the finishing DVD alone is worth what the bid is today. (In my never so humble opinion).

To "Serious this up" I will bid $100.00

It's worth the donation to me....... Russ had forgot more about penturning than many of us will ever know (Again, My never so humble opinion)

YOU MAY NEVER SEE THESE FOR PURCHASE AGAIN!!!!!

I Bid $100.00.

Edit: This will be my one and only bid.
