COMPLETED

AUCTION #1: Bob Wemm Turned Vase, Donated by Ron Robbins

Last year, Bob Wemm donated this incredible Jarrah and Tasmanian Oak segmented vase for auction. [profile=brownsfn2]Rob Robbins[/profile] won this auction for $500. Ron has very generously donated the vase back for auction again this year.

The vase measures 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" and consists of 544 separate pieces. You can read more about this beautiful work of art and see some more photos HERE

THANK YOU, RON! (and thanks again, Bob for the vase!)

$275 Now at least leave the bid for 1 hour please:biggrin:

The amount of work that went into that piece is extraordinary. Segmenting at its highest level. Bob Wemm is becoming one of our leading segmenters on this site and his work is outstanding. Any time you can get to hold a piece of his beautiful works of art is going to be an experience.

We will have a short Station Identification break while the Master Auctioneer takes care of a little personal business.......
CHuck should be Back tomorrow when they find WiFi in the great beyond. In the meantime feel free to hurl insults and bids at each other.

This Auction and all the other Auctions will have a "Soft Closing time" which means that we will continue to accept bids made within 15 minutes of the last one. That eliminates sniping at the end of the Auction. A bid made at 9 pm will extend the closing time to 9:15 to allow a counter bid. Each additional bid will extend the clock another 15 minutes from the posted time.

Now would be a good time to throw a bid in for this great Vase. Dont let this one get away when you could have it just for a teensie weensie bid of $320.00. Go check the couch for change if you need to. I will be right here when you get back.

Having A little issue with FUNDS?? :frown: Haven't found anything in the couch yet? DID you already clean out the couch for casting resin funds?:frown:
Well Ladies and Gents!
Crowd Funding is the Answer. :laugh:Yes, thats right, GO FUND Me is a great creative way to raise funds if you want to bid on this Vase. Why you could even bid on the vase and use the money to replace what you spent before the Wife finds out.. Its a little late on the weekend to take out a mortgage but only takes minutes to start a Go Fund Me Account. Why you will probably have more than enough to bid double!:bulgy-eyes:

Thank you, Mark for your generous bid!

Thanks to all the bidders, Chuck the auctioneer, and Ron for the donation.

Let's not forget Bob Webb for the original donation of that gorgeous vase. I had the pleasure of seeing it at last year's MPG and it far surpassed the photos.
