Default ENDING SOON! AUCTION for IAP!! JohnU package--READ!!

See the last section for new added Huanghuali pieces!!! THIS AUCTION WILL END SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9 PM EASTERN TIME!

We have all grown to understand that "from the studios of John Underhill" is synonymous with "FANTASTIC feathers". John is a master of detail.

Once in a while, John embeds OTHER items in his blanks. I have seen stamps and a few types of shells. After one or two tries, he goes back to feathers!!

This blank is one of John's abalone shells. I think John states it well, when he described it for me:

Info on the blanks if needed... It is a Jr. set made of Abalone Shell pieces, all individually glued to the tube, cleaned, polished and cast in silmar 41 polyresin. There were five hours of shell cutting and glueing on this one set and a three day process from start to completed blanks. I dont take orders or make these to sell anymore due to the time involved......
John

Pretty clearly the only way to have this set of blanks is to be the winning bidder, here!!! AND, typical of John, the attitude is "you couldn't PAY me enough to do this, but I am happy to do it and donate the proceeds to the IAP"!!!

Wouldn't it be nice if more people were this generous?

Can we start the bidding with $25?

This auction will end at a time to be determined tomorrow. Please bid generously, the proceeds of this auction go to the support of the IAP!!!

See procedures here: 2013 auction "procedures"

Sunday update, John Underhill has ADDED another pen blank to this auction!! So you are now bidding on the PAIR of shell blanks!!! The IAP is VERY grateful to John for all the items he has provided this year!!

THANK YOU, JOHN!!!
Go to post #32 to see a picture of the second shell blank, which can be enlarged!!
