Default Do you appreciate the IAP?

Please show your appreciation by purchasing IAP appreciation points HERE.

It takes CASH to run the IAP. For as little as $4.40 per point (50 points for $220.00) you can help fund the IAP. Or you can buy just one appreciation point for $5.00.

Gather your local club members, friends, relatives or take out an ad on Craigslist to gather people, pool your money and conduct your own, private "Group Buy" of IAP Appreciation Points! One purchaser of IAP appreciation points will be awarded a beautiful, handmade IAP clock made by Curtis (Mesquiteman) Seebeck.

Long time members know that the IAP does not actively seek donations often. Only during the February Birthday Bash does the IAP actively solicit funds in order to remain the most comprehensive pen turning site known to man kind! If you bought a mug, cup or stein, THANK YOU! If you made a stand-alone donation within the last year, THANK YOU! Bid on an Auction, THANK YOU! Can you spare $5.00 more? We won't ask again until next February.

This once yearly fundraising is much more fun than the irritating NPR money drive.

Done!
I'm not keen on fundraising drives either, but I sure do appreciate all that the IAP offers. Don't know where I'd be without all you folks.

Much rather have fun in February once a year!

Now if we did it twice a year, maybe we could have lobster AND crab at the bi-weekly moderator's meetings in Fiji!

And just to clarify what Andrew said, in case anyone took it kinds seriously...he was joking! Actually NO ONE that works to run IAP gets paid in any way. This includes a number of managers who keep things running, three moderators that try to keep the peace, and one administrator (Jeff) who keeps it all running without any pay of any kind. So, rest assured, your funding of IAP is going 100% to run and improve IAP and not into ANYONE'S pocket!

Well that certainly explains it. I'm a little slow sometimes, but last year I think I just made a cash donation. Is there a current link to donate?
