Default 2013 auction "procedures"

A "closing time" will be announced for each auction.
Unlike e-bay, placing a bid 30 seconds before close will NOT end the auction if there are still other interested parties bidding.

Because of the delay time of internet posting, if there is bidding activity at the prescribed "end time", I will entertain bids until one bid "stands" for 3 minutes with no higher bid forthcoming.

Just like a live auction! I will use the format, going, going, gone! Once the "gone" has been registered as an entry on the forum the bidding is ended. So, when you see the first "going", you are well advised to get your bid in!! By the second "going", you risk your bid not being accepted.

Our purpose is to raise funds in these auctions---so it is my objective to encourage the highest bid possible---please understand that and don't take offense if I continue to try to "press" for a higher bid.

Most of all, we (IAP) do NOT want to encourage you to bid more than you can afford!!! This is all in the spirit of goodwill for each other and our forum---don't get "caught up in" the bidding---decide where you want to stop and stick within your comfortable means.

EVERY bid, winner or not, is appreciated!!

Thanks for participating!!

ED
