AUCTION #5: 2016 "Managers Mug" ENDS FEB 22 about 9pm ET

Every year I order a special mug as a small token of my appreciation for our dedicated volunteer managers. I order enough for the managers, plus one spare for auction. A few of our managers have been around a long time, and figuring they had enough mugs, this year the "mug" is actually a bowl! I really like these, and I've heard from a couple managers who think they're pretty cool. There are only 3 ways to get one of these; be actively serving on the IAP management team, as a gift from me, or WIN THIS AUCTION!

I'll also include something to fill the bowl a couple times - a pound of chocolates from a Cleveland landmark, Malley's Chocolate

The bowl is the same hand-thrown clay as our mugs, and measures 5-1/2" across and 3-1/8" deep.

Good Saturday afternoon IAP friends! We're ready to go on another fun auction.

Let's have a round of applause for our hardworking auctioneers!

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to auction #5.

We have here a pound of chocolate from Malley's, how can you resist that?

And let's not forget that collectors item it comes in, an authentic, genuine IAP

Managers bowl that will hold lots of great things.... certainly a warm bowl of soup on a cold night.

Who will open the auction at $50 ??

Nothing to do with the auction but ...
I haven't thought of Malley's chocolates since the early 70's when I was a 1st year teacher in Fairview Park, with a 6th grader in my class; Mike Malley. Great kid, wonder what ever happened to him ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, going to call it a night before I get into trouble.

Feel free to talk a little trash, bid a little/lot of money, and we'll be back at it in the morning.

Good night~

I can remember as a child hiking up the hill (Santa Monica Mountains) with 5 pennies in my pocket.

There was a little old lady that ran a small candy store.

Actually she only had a couple small bookshelves loaded to the brim.

Those 5 pennies would buy two hands full of delectable sweets.

Where was I?

Oh Ya!

$175

Good Night Bob!

Ah Ha! There it is, coming from the mountains of Colorado, Mr. Vic at $275.50. Chuck, now it's your turn to find who that $300 is coming from.

$.50 for your favorite soda Bob!

Hey boss...I know we can't get the mug because it's a one of a kind collectors item but when this is over, can you take me to get some of this chocolate with that soda? It must be some good stuff from the bids these folks are making. I can just feel that you are gonna' get $300.50 for it.
Oh absolutely! I have you a ticket reserved for the Losers Train bound for Chocolate City :biggrin:

My bid is encrypted, just in case bad guys are roaming about...

:island:minus EYE and L and "&", then mathematically speaking: 2 minus 2, twice.

You got that Bob or Chuck?

If you need the key, just say so!

Oh, this is easy...."Hey boss, Steve just bid $14,073.50 plus free airfare and hotel to Hawaii! Start packing."

(did I get it right?)

Close Bob, but you get the proverbial "NO CIGAR"

Hope the bad guys are not watching...
I wanted to pull the island out of the image, leaving "tree", followed by two zero's from the higher math problem of 2 minus 2: "tree" 0 0.

or.........

A bid of $300
