I bought a Wolverine jig and a Woodcraft slow speed grinder. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems mounting the jig to the grinder? I plan on doing it sometime this week when I get time and wanted to see if there are any recommended methods or problems I am going to encounter.

Thanks.

Dustin - you are going to want to mount the grinder on a piece of 3/4" plywood to raise the wheels to the suggested dimension above the bottom of the Wolverine jig. I forget the exact dimension, it's like 6 1/2" or something??? It's a pretty easy installation - just make sure you line the center of the jig with the center of the grinding wheels and you are good to go. When you sharpen, think of it not as grinding the tool, but dressing the bevel. NEVER push down on the tool to grind it, let the weight of the tool be enough. Otherwise, you can eat up gouges in no time!
