Found this stash at a local flee market.
Got all this for $10
Most center drills are #4, some smaller and some bigger then I thought they made them in. 3 ea 5/16 and 3 ea 1/4 taps. 2 smaller ones and a neat little box that used to have Yankee bits in it.

Now I don't need to worry about breaking my best center bit.

The challenge moves. When I find them used they need to be sharpened.

Nice stash and after making the cutting edges sharp you are good for a long long time.

Actually Ken, most of them look like they were hardly used or maybe never used.
They may only be dull because they were all piled into a box.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why someone would have 3 dozen #4 center drills?
I'm seeing some Union, Morse, National and some with logos I don't recognize.
Most are marked USA made.
