A customer asked me if I could make a pen that would accept Mont Blanc cartridges. To do so, I would have to have a tap of the appropriate size and thread count to tap the pen barrel. Does anyone know of taps being available for this? Also, is there any question of legality involved? I haven't got a clue what the correct size would be. Any help would be appreciated.

According to Nibs.com, the Bexley K6 Converter "fits many Montblanc fountain pens" ... LINK

The K6 converters typically use M7.5 x 0.75 threads (as mentioned on Indy-Pen-Dance website ... LINK)

M7.5 x 0.75 taps are sold a few places, I've seen them on milanspens.com
